Have no issues with Iggy winning it, but it boggles my mind how not one voter thought Curry was worthy of FMVP.

Probably '88. Give it to the referees.

1973: Frazier (either in '70 or in '73 should've gone to Walt, got no beef with Reed having 1 but 2 is reaching, Clyde deserves to have 1 of those)

    1978: Hayes

    1980: Kareem

    1981: Bird

    1988: Magic

    2015: Curry

That's more like it... Few of those selections even reach ridiculous grounds, tbh.

In 12 I wouldve given to the refs and 13 to Ray Allen.

Parker got the fmvp for destroying boobie gibson basically. Duncan was the better player throughout the playoffs obviously.

Anyone not a Kobe hater can see that Kobe was the best player in the series you do not give an MVP to a player who disappears in big games.

    1980 Magic

    That was Kareem's team.

Not mentioned in the list, but 2007 FMVP Parker, Duncan had bigger impact.

2008: Pierce, because Garnett was the most valuable and impactful player.

2015: Iggy, it was Curry's award. Funny how Garnett's or Duncan's defense and overall impact didnt matter, but Iggy's worse impact was considered FMVP worthy.
Iggy was guarding the best player in the league and made countless of big shots. You guys are underrating his impact.

I'd still give it to Curry though.

I'd give the 2015 Finals MVP to Steph Curry, hands down.

Iggy's impact on Lebron is overstated because Lebron shot JUST AS POORLY against Chicago (39.9%) and Atlanta (43.8%).

And obviously, Iggy didn't play for the Bulls or Hawks.. Instead, the common thread in each playoffs series was 1) Lebron's higher shot volume, 2) Lebron's high isolation frequency coupled with his league-low FG% on these isolations.

It isn't debateable that Lebron's poor isolation FG% tanked his overall FG% in these playoffs - it's statistical fact.. Teams let him isolate because they knew he was a horrible isolation player.. Period..

The tape don't lie.. This is part of historical record - of course, 10 years from now, posters will invariably misconstrue and misstate these facts.. They're already doing it and the series is barely a month old.

Duncan in 05. Ginobili was clearly the most impactful player on the team.
