Kerr should have been curry to be more of a passer and a slasher once he saw the spurs were not giving him the 3 point shot
So who was unable to make the adjustment? Kerr? Curry? or both?
IT WAS ONLY ONE GAME..

Maybe he should have turned into Magic and became more of a passer

Not at all - during the 1996 regular season, Jordan never had a bad game IN A LOSS, when his team NEEDED him to do better.
Anytime Jordan scored less than 20 points (only 8 times), it was a blowout WIN - his team didn't need more from him anyway.
It shouldn't be a surprise that Jordan was harder to stop - Curry RELIES on making 24 footers to have a good game or be a good player, whereas Jordan's offense was far more versatile and didn't rely on any one aspect to be great.. Jordan could get 50 on all drives, on all post-ups, on all jumpshots, or any number of ways, whereas Curry can only do it by making 10+ threes.

I agree with you there that Curry has to be less one-dimensional on the offensive end. If they take the 3 away then you must do other things like pass or slash not pout that you could not shoot your 30 ft three pointer

and you guys swear this guy would be good in the 70's with no 3-point line, or in the 80's and 90's without 3-point shooting TEAMMATES to enable today's 3-point focused/seeking offenses??
think again
without the 3-pointer, Curry is ordinary... i'm not sure he MAKES the league if there was no 3-point shot.

Curry isn't good finisher or slasher getting to rim he just doesn't have size nor athleticism Curry isn't great down low.

Re: Why didn't Curry become a SLASHER once the Spurs took the 3 pointer away?
Currys ability to attack the paint comes from keeping his defender off balance. Had he hit some of his early 3s, it would have opened that aspect of his game a bit. He's not explosive or has has a great first step. He does have a good change of pace and is quick but not enough to slash as a fallback option. Hard to keep a defense like the spurs off balance of his game isn't dictating what they do

Sure, Ordinary with amazing range. Defenses back then would give him room around 20 feet out. Curry scores on 45% from that range with defenders draped up on him. Defenders in those times wanted players to take those deep twos, even encouraged it by giving space. Curry at 20ft with space will score consistently on high efficiency..
