at a time when domination was a thing of the past? wut? It's because of a weak era, bro.

And his numbers do not even stand out that much when compared to history and results. The only thing his fans seem to care about is FG% anyway. If ESPN didn't change their entire hype to worship the all mightly FG%, Lebron would not be nearly as popular.

    And MVPs are popularity contests.

much more dominant peak than Kobe, Magic, Bird or Duncan.

we laugh at him like he has always been the bald mofvcker he is, but there was a 2 year stretch where he played the game at a higher level than ANYONE has ever played (sorry Wilt, but he would have clowned those silly white boys back in your day too)

How is was LeBron in a weak era? LeBron played in the same era as Kobe (top 10 all-time), Shaq (top 5 all-time), Durant, Wade, Dirk, Nash, Howard, Chris Paul, KG, and Paul Pierce to name a few legends from this era. LeBron is playing in a tough era at SF: LeBron, Durant, Carmelo, Pierce, George along with other good players like Deng, Ariza, Odom at SF.

    Peak LeBron is GOAT

Averaged 35/9/8 for an entire playoffs

And this was not just 1 round, but all the way till game 6 of ECF ( a series where he averaged 38/8/7)

So, the GOAT fails to get past Dwight Howard and the Magic?

The GOAT put up much better numbers against Dwight than Kobe did that year

Gasol and Fisher carried Kobe to that ring

Who underrates Lebron? He is a 27/7/7 guy with multiple 50%+ fg seasons.

i've never seen a player match up to peak lebron. Its crazy how even with the most terrible teammates, he still managed to destroy the league. He wasn't in a weak era like russell and wilt, he didn't have stacked teammates like jordan and kobe, he didn't get whistles like wade and durant, instead he simply dominated purely by himself. No player can say that.

Over two playoff seasons for 25 games, Elgin Baylor averaged 38.4/16.5/4.1, which included a 3 pt game 7 loss to the Celtics in the finals where Baylor went off for 40.6 a game.

In that series, Russell was 22.9/27/5.7 on 54.3%.

Peak Baylor was a better scorer and rebounder than Lebron. He was also a better finals performer. Too bad they couldn't repair knee injuries like they can today.

With no inside threat and nobody on the perimeter hitting shots, Rose was pretty much doomed by the trap defense which Lebron lead. Defenses knew it was rose or nothing.

I'm not saying that Lebron didn't do a good job, but crediting him with 100% lockdown on Rose is one of the biggest myths on ISH.

Then what happened in the finals? Was Terry the that much better than Rose?
