Yea, i'd probably have him at the very top of the list.

And in that video, those weren't even his best defensive possessions... Like the first two plays shown in that video were him getting slightly beat off the dribble and then recovering and getting a block. The best defensive plays are when you don't even allow the player to get by you in the first place and thus never even need to attempt to block their shot.

Of course, account for your injuries but just don't take into account Wade was also injured when playing last season.

Don't think hes too worried. 26/5/5 on 48% shooting over the last two playoff series with the Celtics. Wade's really struggling, right?

Kawhi is up there as one of the best perimeter defenders.

He did a great job on Kobe yesterday, Bryant had some kind words for him after the game.

Bryant had a sluggish start offensively and the Lakers fell behind 54-45 at the half.

His first basket came with less than a minute remaining in the first quarter and he closed the half 2 for 6 from the field. Bryant credited his poor shooting to Spurs second-year player Kawhi Leonard.

''It was Kawhi's defense,'' Bryant said. ''He did a good job.''

so pretty much the same as has been the case for the last four years? where all the celtics have to do is stay healthy?

except they are a team of 30 year olds, so there will always be injuries. and when the celtics lose, we can blame the injuries, and act like they arent pretty predictable, and act like they arent a by product of having such an old team

LOL @ Celts fans thinking they can beat the Heat in the play-offs. Try getting out of the 8th seed first.

Hes been pretty impressive, the Celtics look to go on a long winning streak. They may go 8-2 or even 9-1 for their next 10 games.

Why are people saying he always has puffy eyes because he gets hit on defense? that's how he looks.

I guess that makes him a legitimate fringe all-defensive team selection.
You don't have Sefolosha in that top tier right now? I guess he's had some games this year where he's gotten lit up by Kobe and Joe Johnson. But he's also had equally impressive games of shutting down Parker, CP3, and Harden. I don't know, though, it's hard to say he's definitively better than most of the other guys you listed.
