Default rings dont count unless you win fmvp

You can't use rings to make cases for players if he wasn't even the best player in the championship round sidekick rings are cheap and embarrassing to brag about

some teams dont win with 1 guy doing all the work

some teams win with 2 lead dogs

some teams have no lead dog and a random wins fmvp

sorry it varies based on each situation

kobe averaged 25/5/5 combined for the 3 titles he won without finals mvp

guys have won finals mvp with worse stats

    in 2001 kobe had 29/7/6

    Russell 1.5-2X > MJ
MJ twice as good as Lebron
    Lebron 2 times Kobe
    Kobe 1.5 times Nash
    Nash twice Malone

Yeah I dont count kobe and his 3 sidekick rings as real championships. In order for it to have count he would have had to be the best player in the championship round. It just seems cheap to brag about a ring when a teammate played better than you

FMVP just means best in the finals though, you do realize that. You really think Cedric Maxwell was the best player for Boston? You really think Paul Pierce was the best player in 08? Or Parker in 07?

Because only 1 player is deserving of the ring and other teammates have 0 impact on the outcome. Great logic.

Yeah but the ring only matters if you were the leader of the team thats the point. Who cares about sidekick rings
