He's an unrestricted free agent. Cavs probably can't bring back both of thompson or love. If they lose love, they probably look pretty stupid to trade away wiggins. If they beat golden state and win a title, I think they have all the leverage on love and maybe don't really need him anyway. If they win, I think thompson stays in cleveland and love is gone. If they lose, it might be the other way around.

I think Thompson probably gets around 13-14 million a year. Not sure if cavs can afford that. My dream scenario for the raps is to get thompson and cory joseph. That would be a pretty good start. Not sure if one of lowry or derozen will get traded. I would not mind a lawson for lowry trade.
Then ship Vazquez to OKC.

joseph is just very smart, and plays both ends of the floor. Him and thompson both work so hard. If thompson and mozgoz can play together, I would think that thompson can play together with val. Thompson and patterson can also play together, as tristan is such a good rebounder. Patterson and amir could not get a defensive rebound when they needed it.

Completely agree. High basketball I.Q. and isn't a black hole on defense. What more could one ask for in a PG? Starting him and having Mills continue to be a nice spark off the bench with the second unit would be perfect, especially with a pretty much done Parker and Ginobili alongside an emerging star in Leonard.

I wasn't sure if joseph was starter material. well, as a raps fan I'd bring him in to start for us then, trade lowry for a wing and trade derozen for a wing and then draft a point guard. get rid of vazquez.

I think Lowry can still fetch a good younger player and their would have to be a taker for derozen somewhere.
How bout toronto and portland and oKC in three way trade.
portland ends up with derozen and lamb, OKC gets vazquez and a couple second rounders and raps get batum and roberson.
