Default Blake Griffin on his being Drafted and meeting Sterling

This is a really good read, I know the Sterling debacle is over and done with but it's cool to see it from Blake's perspective. Sorry if this has been posted already.

    Good read

Crazy how much the clippers changed in the past 4 years. Going from being a joke to getting Blake, Cp3, Doc Rivers, and a new owner. Shit is pretty cool

Amazing the difference the changing of an owner can make. When Sterling was GM everyone was miserable, had no permanent jobs and got used to mediocrity. But with Ballmer he's willing to spend whatever it takes for them to win, and everyone is happy.

It's a shame the media was ragging on Ballmer when it became official, because he seems like a good guy.

Thank ****ing god he's gone. I don't really care about Sterling and his personal issues involving people that weren't white, but you DO NOT treat your employees like that. I really don't care much about the Clippers, but i'm glad that they were able to get an owner who actually gives two shits about his organization and business. Hell, Ballmer wants to win NOW. Media can **** with him all they want, he has my respect.

If Griffin really did write that (and I think he did) then I am impressed.

[I]Things were about to get weirder. Two blonde models showed up on either side of me. They had clearly been hired for the event. I knew this because they were wearing size XXXX-L Clippers T-shirts tied at the stomach. I looked at Sterling. He had a big dumb grin on his face. I looked at one of the girls, as if to say,

Billups said on open court that he wished he had been there for the entire thing.......He was there for a couple years I think but he said he wished he were there last year when it all really hit the fan because he basically would have showed the Clippers how to lead a true protest.....

Not sure if he did write that alone but if he did I agree, very impressive.

Was a good read, Sterling is a fruitloop.

    Dat spin

Sterling has been the owner through this whole resurgence of the clippers not balmer.

Why are people acting like the clippers are some incredibly successful team these past 4 years?

Last I checked Memphis has made it further than the clippers have over this 4 year span.

Clippers have been bounced from the playoffs earlier than expected every single year under Cp3s leadership yet are somehow talked about and hyped up like they make the finals every year.

Ya, that is definitely worth the read. The players were just waiting for something like this to happen.
