Re: Tracy McGrady, a baseball player?
I've seen a video of TMac throwing fastballs with Roger Clemens indoors during his first year in Houston. It was a behind the scene kinda thing. I believe it was for ESPN. Clemens was also playing in Houston at the time for the Astros.
And yes, his fastballs looked like they were in the mid-80's to low 90's.
I've searched but cant find the video.

And probably all over the place once it reaches the plate. Pitching mechanics are generally tougher for taller guys.

Which could make it scary to step in the box against him.

A 34 year old 6'8 guy who hasn't been focused on baseball will be able to consistently repeat a pitching motion to maintain that kind of velocity and have some semblance of command? Not happening.
How do you know hes never been focused on baseball and why cant it happen
Obviously NBA players are hard workers let alone a former scoring champion

Because he's been a professional basketball player, that's why. How much time do you think he's had to develop a repeatable delivery and mechanics to ever be able to throw strikes with that velocity?

McGrady isn't known as a hard worker though.

Re: Tracy McGrady, a baseball player?
Not surprised, he grew up playing baseball..he said in an interview that it was his first love, he just happened to be better at basketball. I think it would be great for him he's not even old for a baseball player, he's only 34. And they usually play till they're 40

Players don't have those magical "second primes" anymore. Not since drug testing has become serious.
