Default Tracy McGrady, a baseball player?

According to Jeff Van Gundy, Tracy McGrady may seriously pursue a baseball career as a pitcher. T-Mac reportedly has a 90+ mph fastball. He planned to join Sugar Land Skeeters, the same independent league team Roger Clemens pitched for a short while.

He also did talk about it many years ago.

    He'll never make it.

A 34 year old 6'8 guy who hasn't been focused on baseball will be able to consistently repeat a pitching motion to maintain that kind of velocity and have some semblance of command? Not happening.

Make what? He's playing independent baseball. He'll bring in fans and get to remain competitive playing sports. If he can throw in the 90's he's certainly got a shot at playing in the minors. At 6'8" his ball will be on you in a hurry.
