You can hear Marv Alberts enthusiasm go from authentic to forced almost immediately and then just die off from there into casual conversation with Chris Webber and Reggie Miller as the game progresses into the most embarassingly uncompetitive layup line and 3 point shooting practice session I've ever seen on a basketball court.

None of those guys gave a single crap about competing. What the hell is the point of calling it an all star GAME anymore? I want to see the best of the best try to BEAT each other.

Good news is the Dunk contest was actually as exciting and competitive as I've seen in YEARS

But that All Star Game has GOT to change that was just sad to see Kobe go out in a game that scored nearly 400 COMPLETELY undefended lobs and 3 point shots between both teams
