Kupchak is a great GM and master trader, we all know that. It's a shame that the players aren't rewarding his brilliance more this year. I guess he can't account for just how big the egos are of incoming players (Dwight I'm looking at you).

I think the Lakers are still searching for their identity and that is why they struggled badly and still struggling. They were trying all those types of system from Princeton to DAntoni uptempo offense and they don't have the right combo to run those. Combine with injuries and sudden coaching change, all the worst things that you hope won't happen has happened. The good about is the Lakers are still in the playoff hunt. I don't think the Lakers will win it this year but I would not be surprise if they go deep.
