He could improve his shooting a bit too. I'm not sure he'll ever be a true "point forward" type, but I also don't think he needs to be. Total stud, top 3 player in the game with room to grow.

He's basically Scottie Pippen with clutchness and an elite jumpshot, aka the perfect basketball player. He can literally do everything on the court, and his decision making is incredible so he usually makes the right play.


What I like best about him is his mentality. He never gets rattled and comes up big in crunch time more consistently than any player I have ever seen.


He is the Tim Duncan of small forwards. He is elite at every single thing required in his position.


After the Carmelo 40% chucking volume shooter era of the 2000s, it is refreshing to see hard working team first guys obsessed with basketball and ONLY basketball like Leonard and Curry rising to the top of the league.

Exactly, Pippen was more of a playmaker while Kawhi is looking to be the better shooter. Their post game has similarities though.

If he beats the Thunder and Warriors, he's #1. Curry, Westbrook and Durant would have no argument at that point. Then beating LeBron in the finals makes him clear cut the best player in the game today.
