Default Kobe Bryant should have 7 Championships

2004: Taking IV's during the playoff because he was out of shape from offseason knee/shoulder surgeries and no rehab due to the trial, Malone injured, Big Ben juicing more than Tropicana, and the refs letting Detroit maul people

2008. Ariza AND Bynum injured for the Finals.

2004 was impossible for us to win.

Shaq was close to 400 pounds and couldn't play defense to save his life. The Pistons loaded up on Kobe and forced Shaq to beat them (like every other EC team before them), but Shaq couldn't keep it up and he got exposed defending the P&R on the other end over and over again.

But with a healthy Kobe? Without a court case? We would have had a fighters' chance. He was the reason we didn't get swept in that series. A healthier, more focused Kobe has us 2 - 0 after the first two games and wins one on the road.

The Nets took the Pistons to 7 games, the NETS.

Lakers beat a team arguably better than the Pistons in the Spurs two rounds earlier.

Kobe singlehandedly cost you that finals. Had he passed the ball instead of chucking it at a 38% rate, the lakers wouldn't have lost with Malone, Payton,, Shaq, Kobe, Fox, and Fisher with Phil Jackson as coach.

Lakers would have won in 2004 had Malone been 100% healthy.

That said, winning then would have prevented them for making the roster changes that resulted in the two post-Shaq titles.

This dude really out here trying to make Kobe look like the hero of the series. Were you drunk upon tying this, or are you really this delusional?

So, which game did Shaq win for us in that series? His numbers were nothing but empty calories. They played man defense on him with a 6-8 Ben Wallace and he was ****ing useless on the other end.

Nah. He has admitted that LeBron is ahead of Kobe a long time ago. He doesn't believe half of what he says but he's so annoyed by LeBron fanboys that he tries to wind them up.

He thinks and knows that Kobe single handily choked 2004. But wants a reaction.

Kobe hit a game-tying shot in the last seconds of that series to save us from a sweep. Lebron has 0 made game-tying/go-ahead shots in the last seconds of the Finals, and he's had 9 series to do this.

2000 - Blazers with one of the biggest meltdowns in NBA history
    2002- The Sacramento screwjob
2010 - Crap officiating down the stretch, and Perkins was hurt (he sucked, but he would have helped)

2001 and 20009 were gimmes, the teams they played in the finals were not finals quality

    Could easily only have 2
