Like I said, the series was tied 2 - 2 so Curry had to close that out and he had to win the WCF, that's half the wins in the WC.

The series was basically reduced to a best of 2 1/3 games with the Warriors experiencing a sudden big change in their lineup in the middle of a critical game.

I'm actually more impressed with the Warriors because of their resolve in the face of the sudden shock of losing KD. Are you going to argue that losing KD under those circumstances was helpful? If anything the likely psychological effect would have been to dispirit a lesser team. They showed that they could deal with adversity.
