    A lot of people misuse them like this. When i started working with them i was also under the impression that they would help me if i started playing basketball with them but my coach at the time told me otherwise. Wise man!

    Agreed. Ankle weights and the stupid jump shoes things irritate me to no end - it's a great way to quickly wreck your ligaments without making any progress at all.
