Chris Paul finally has a team around him. For the first time he has a team around him that would be pretty dang good without him.
And peak Howard had 27/16/2/1 67 TS% in the playoffs. His teammates struggled to score 10 points(literally) from game to game in the playoffs.

The ranking is the best player of all time. Getting a ring can move you up but not over someone who also has a few rings and had superior talent.
Lebron has a COUPLE of rings and Duncan would have 2 1/2 times that if Spurs won this year.

Duncan is definetly top 4 if he wins maybe top 3 IMO for impact on both sides of the floor.
Durant id put hi top 30 if he wins a ring this year. His statline is up there with the greats.
Lebron id put him top 7-8 if he wins
