I'm curious do you actually follow the NBA?

Or do you just hate on others who actually do?

    Jordan, no question about it.

2012 lebron was unreal tho, that game 6 vs Boston was crazy... No one could guard him that night... He couldn't miss from anywhere on the court... His best performance imo considering the season/his legacy were completely on the line

I still look back at LeBron's 2012 season in amazement. Elite numbers, but he never actually demonstrated elite basketball ability. He was still struggling athletically in the half-court. Not as bad as 2011, but still devoid of explosion off the dribble or any consistent ability to create for himself when the game slow down. I never had any confidence in him to take over a game, and really, he never actually did so either. Pretty much all of his production that year came within the flow of the game. His jumper was broke for much of the year too, especially in the playoffs. He had no real ability to exert his will when necessary and take over - his playmaking ability was just limited. Most of his offense was built on a dominant transition game, hard off-ball cuts to the basket and general Marion-like activity from 18 feet and inside. And all the credit in the world to him for amassing the numbers he did with that limited ability. Even leading his team to a championship! But plenty of versions of LeBron are better than his '12 self. 2009, 2010 and 2013-current. They are all better and much closer to '92 MJ, but not better, no. That's arguably MJ's best version and it's hard to imagine anyone being better than that. He had a complete and flawless skill-set, to go along with still-freakish athleticism at age 29. But more importantly, with a ring under his belt now, his control over games + sheer confidence/ruthlessness on the court all went up a notch higher that year, IMO. LeBron's simply not on that level from a mental standpoint.

1992 Jordan fairly clearly. If you weren't around then, you can't understand the level '92 Jordan was at, both in terms of on court dominance and control over games as well as the mental hold he had on the league.

This is the Jordan who dropped 50 in a Dream Team scrimmage against HOF players. This is the Jordan who scored 54 points over the final 3 quarters vs. the Heat in the playoffs after Heat players taunted him after a 2 point first quarter. This is the Jordan who dropped 42 point in game 7 against the Knicks to pull out a series win - about a dozen of those points coming in quick succession after McDaniel got in his face. This is the Jordan who dropped an NBA record 35 points and 6 threes in the first half of game 1 of the NBA Finals just to show the separation betwen him and a main rival - and he did it while sitting out 7:30 of the half. Dude could've legitimately had a 43+ point half and 60+ point game had he not sat so long and eased off in the second half. As it stands he had back to back games of 39 pts/10+ ast in the opening two games of the Finals.

Lebron is great, but he's not that.

    /Wide Open Lanes

    /No perimeter contact

/Can only play with perfect spacing

/Can only play while dominating the ball

/Jumps ship when he hits adversity

    See how easy that is?

I've already confirmed multiple times that I'm a knicks fan. As for your ass that might be a different story.

Illegal D was called as much as travelling or palming is called today. Teams played zone (without 3-second violations) outright back then. It got to the point that the NBA called several summits to deal with the issue with no luck, until they threw in the towel and got rid of the rule. So basically the only thing that changed was teams had to be pull their bigs out of the paint every 2.9 seconds instead of playing actual zone.

THIS is the sort of defense Jordan was facing in the '92 playoffs.
