They're on pace for 82 wins, so 82-0

I think 82-0 is more likely.

0% chance at beating the Bulls 72-10 record.

People here really not grasping just how hard it is to play at a top level day in and day out for a whole season. The Warriors cannot take a game off, every team is gunning for them. Players will miss games because of injuries, there will be games where they can't hit the side of a barn or the other team can't miss, the kind of stuff that happens in a long season.

Right now they look unbeatable and ISH is famous for being prisoner of the moment but sometime this season, I gaurantee GSW will lose back to back games and drop 3 out of their last 4 games and people will be declaring the Warriors as done

    BTW, I predict 68 wins

68 wins is 4 short of the record and you give it a 0% chance?

    Makes little sense imo

either way love how we match up against the West especially the clippers. It has nothing to do with Blake or CP3, but we are still pissed they traded us Corey Maggette.

If they go 20-0 to start, can anyone see them going worse than 52-10 over the last 62?

If they treated every game like a game 7 of the NBA Finals, I wouldn't even rule out 78-4. But that would obviously never happen, and it shouldn't happen. Might be bold but I predict 74-8 as well if they stay healthy and actually WANT the record.

There are many teams that have won 66/67 games. That's only a handful of games difference between that and 72, yet no other team has touched 70 wins. In a 82 game season, to win 72 games means that you can't lose more than 10 games so every loss is huge. A 4 game difference is big in that context.

You wanna make it interesting? The Warriors won't win 70 games, let alone break the Bulls record. Let's make it a self ban bet

They literally need to go ice-cold for 4 straight quarters to lose a game. With their defense and ball movement and depth, all it takes is one hot quarter scoring 35+ to put them over the hump against almost anyone.
They lost two to a depleted Cleveland team in the finals. It's not that hard to imagine. Other teams can get hot too.

One of Hondo's Celtics teams won 68 games and lost to the Knicks in the playoffs.

I usually ignore talks when a team gets off to a hot start and people start talking about 70+ wins, but this Warriors team has the formula to do it. The won 67 games last year while dominating teams, both their offense & defense are elite, they are well coached, and they have the best player in the world right now in Curry, I don't know if they will reach 70+ wins, but I do believe this team will go down as one of the best teams in league history, they are just nasty.
