Thumbs down "Kobe's past injuries are affecting his shots" MYTH

Just quit the copout, Kobe's elevation is the SAME. Yes folks, it is.

He IS getting the space and separation, IT'S THERE. He HAS the same elevation and often wide open shots, but they're just not going in! Even when he has the wide looks, which is notably often, the shots are clankers, clunkers, even sticking to the rim. Defenders are waiving him off doubles, head up on iso's, Kobe's not getting suffocated or blocked over and over.

Die hard Laker fans you must come to recognize this watching Kobe all the time, it's not his lift, seperation or physical status: his motion is busted and the orientation is way off. And you see it

Lakers fans, do you recognize his shooting form this season? No you don't, something is way off, it just looks so wrong when he shoots. Stumbling on his follow throughs like he got fouled by somebody, every shot. Wobbling on his landings. lol wtf, c'mon Kobe.

People who know ball, it's clear cut. Kobe went from a two step shooting motion to a one motion shooter. And it's has broken his jumper, completely. He has tried to mimic Steph's shooting motion over the summer and it has failed so far. His form is completely different and unrecognizable.

The whole "wwwwaaambulance achilles fault, injuries fault", has been you're go to and it's pathetic seeing how Kobe's shooting form is completely different. And if you still wanna entertain that route about "so many injuries" then Kobe still at fault due to inadequete warmups, poor training, sad nutrition and lazy stretching.

Honestly what is wrong with you?

Do you not have any loved ones to spend time with today? Why are you hating on a guy who doesn't even know you? You go tear your Achilles and go play basketball, see how you do....just stop it, we know who you are, jameer, jt123 etc....

A lot of words saying absolutely nothing. Congrats.

tldr; anybody that knows a thing about basketball, understands that Kobe's decline has everything to do with age and past injuries.

    Good read

You're spot on IMO. Nothing but excuses from Kobe fans to hide the fact that Kobe can't shoot.

Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, Hell even Paul Pierce could all shoot the ball in their late 30's

Kobe can't, and so he's plummeting out of my top 20 all-time list because of it

he has no lift, i can see it clearly. he isn't the same physically anymore. he can't impose his will on the game using just athleticism.

and that's all right. he shouldn't have to. he still has his brain, doesn't he? it's not like he injured it or something. if he TRULY HAD THE SKILLS, then playing without athleticism should be fine by him.

but his basketball IQ is the most retarded out of any top ten player i have ever seen. he got by on athleticism alone. that's it.

the real myth is that Kobe had mad skillz.

no he didn't. he just had mad hops.

look at Dirk doing the up and under on him. lol. does that move require athleticism? you see Kobe trying it? lololol. he still shooting those fadeaway shots like the retarded player that he is.

Nique had a career year in 1993 following an Achilles' tendon tear.

It's not the Achilles. He recovered. Can't be used as a built in excuse. He's the one deciding to play. That injury was nearly two and a half years ago now.

The knee injury the next year. Shoulder injury the season after that. His body has been telling him for three years that he's done. He's not listening.

It's one thing to be competitive and confident. It's another to be ego maniacal and delusional. It's becoming increasingly evident without the athleticism and skill he once had that he's the latter. The signs were always there though. His preposterous delusional comments following the 1 for 14 beat down by GS is proof positive of that ... Ever lacking self awareness and always making it about himself. Like he was reminding people of his best season ever because of how less than mortal NBA wise he looks now.

He needs to hang it up. 15/4/4 on like 33 percent shooting and yet to have a 20 point game, already willingly sat out 3 games before even Christmas?! What's the point in him even being out there. He's having no effect on winning basketball games. He's a hindrance offensively. And defensively is nonexistent.

He's making it hard to watch. I thought Jordan on the Wizards at 38 to 40 years old was tough to watch. But dude was putting up 20 to 23 ppg in a more physical, slower offensive era. And doing two to three years older than Kobe is now. What Bryant is doing is just flat out embarrassing.
