I mean seriously, there's a world of a difference between the Lakers and Nets. One team has won an average of what, 18 games the past two seasons? The other has been in 3 of the last 4 finals and won 2 of them.

It doesn't make sense for these guys to have a "list" of teams they'd like to be traded to unless those teams are so similar in market size/talent/coaching etc.

That's not the case. LA takes a monstrous dump on New Jersey in everything - front office, supporting cast, future, chances to win a title, weather, marketability etc.
