Did this game confirm that prime Kobe could've broke 100?
He scored 81 on 45 shots. Give him a few free throws and shots and he breaks it

Many players could break 100 if they got the ball every possession with their team's strategy to let them get it like Ilt

DAVID ROBINSON SCORED OVER 70 in the last game of one season where he was tied for the scoring title with shaq... So yea there are players that could score 100 if they took 60 shots or more..

Here's Wilt on:
The 100-point game
"I see now on TV where some company is saying you can buy a tape with that game on it. Let me tell you, the only camera that was ever in the arena that night was the one of me showing '100 points' on a sign," Chamberlain said. "When people see me, they say, 'There's the guy who scored 100 points.' It's a tag and I don't like that tag. It's not a putdown. But it's a simplification of how people see me. It doesn't exemplify what I tried to do in basketball. People forget, I had games where I only took one shot. Some games I didn't take any. I led the league in scoring seven straight years and then I was asked to do other things. That was a testament to how good I was."

Not necessarily; that's disingenuous to the fact that it takes an unwieldy amount of talent to be able to create shots and not falter with the continuance of shot-taking after it's already become physically taxing.
The more a player scores, the more it takes a toll on their body and the more defenses will counter-strategize against them. Only so many points can be fertilized without the ability to be a skillful shot-creator, regardless of a shot-happy mentality and an inordinate usage-rating; that's why it takes superstar-level skill to be able to score prolifically, and it's why there needs to be caveats when you account for field-goal percentage in its own vacuum.

Wilt took 63 shots to get 100pts, but of course it was from an era without the 3 ball. If someone shots 65-70 times and the game goes to 2-3OT, its totally possible.
