Failure is an option but fear isn't
Why doesn't LeBron James understand this?
At least when Kevin Durant lost in the Finals he went out with multiple 4th quarter efforts of scoring 15 points or more.

Durant couldn't even guard Chalmers

But he held LeBron to 9-27 shooting in the Finals until the refs forced him into foul trouble and onto someone else
Damn, I guess a 6'11 player guarding a point is a bit of a mismatch tho

Thanks man, I just can't wrap my head around going out in the Finals while sitting the final 8 minutes....
It's at worst the final game of the fukking season anyways.....
I'll never understand that. Not one bit.

Past is the past though, it can't be changed, so who cares?

Yet posted these statlines in closeout games vs those guys:
36/10/2
33/8/2 (5-5 on threes)
39/16/5
All vs tougher competition in rounds one and two than LeBron had to face at all in the East

Re: Failure is an option but fear isn't
As a Heat fan I don't really have a right to complain because without LeBron we don't win two rings but I will say that seeing his mannerisms down the stretch in some of those Finals games irked me a bit...
His body language on the bench of one of the games (I don't recall which one it was) was horrible. He was covering his mouth with his shirt but you could tell that he was in one of those "it's not my fault we are going to lose" modes while probably ripping someone else apart. As a leader of the team you just don't want him acting like that. When we beat OKC in 2012 Durant, Westbrook, and all of those guys handled the loss with class which leads me to believe that they'll be hoisting the trophy at some point.
And that final game of last years finals series reminded me of his Celtics series in Cleveland... He seemed to had quit on his team by the 4th quarter and had made up his mind and was ready to move on to Cleveland where things will be "easier" for him.
Maybe he has a winning finals record with a more locked in and focused mentality. We have seen players like Kobe, Dirk, Wade, and even Durant take over in the playoffs when it looked like their team was going to lose. All I know is that I'm just happy for the success that LeBron and Bosh have brought to Miami these past four years, so it's not my position to complain.

Lebron dissappears when he cant handle the pressure. He wants the media the most but cant handle it when losing
