Why not? The ABA in mid 1970s was a better league than NBA, the Nets beat every NBA Champion from 1973-1976. If the knicks pre-merger(pre-1976) NBA titles count, the nets ABA titles surely count as well. Its hilarious when knicks fans ask other fans how many titles their teams have won, acting as if their two worthless prehistoric NBA titles actually mean anything.
