Wolves add guard Alexey Shved

The latest European addition to the Minnesota Timberwolves will be able to use a deep backcourt to ease his transition to the NBA.
That's the view of Timberwolves general manager David Kahn. He said Wednesday after Alexey Shved's signing was finalized that it's important for the team to avoid putting too much pressure on the 23-year-old Russian to become an immediately productive player.
