Why did Kerr draw up a 3 pt play while down 1 with seconds left?
Yeah Steph is the GOAT shooter but wtf was that?

Modern dumbed down NBA my man, nothing more nothing less.
Just wait a few years when they tinker with the rules once again and teams start launching 50+ 3's on a nightly basis and the funny thing is people will still claim "that's the best the NBA has ever been".
Unreal and sad what's happened to basketball at all levels since the mid 90's. The WWE and the NBA have some interesting parallels when you look at them closely, LOL!

Just like last series when the game was tied at the end and instead of Steph taking the 14-15 footer FTW, he needed to dribble and take multiple steps to get behind the line cause he's not comfortable shooting mid-range.

Curry got a good shot off, it was a good play call

Raptors were doubling him on the catch after Klay went out.

Because 3 is more than 2.

Defense was packing the paint since no one else on the floor besides curry could shoot. so they went with a play that would free up Curry for a shot that he practices every single day. Good look, with plenty of time to foul after had they not went full jungle ball on the rebound.

Jordan would have gone for the midrange shot and the win.

Yup thought it was a good play. Doubt they could get a better shot tbh given the players they have available.

Going up 2 instead of 1 has a lot of value

The better question is why did Kerr put the ball in Curry's hands?
That's finals suicide. Kerr made the decision to lose the finals just to protect Steph's fragile ego by allowing him to take the shot.
He knew Curry couldn't make the shot, it was his way of waiving the white flag and preventing other injuries going into next season.
Kerr quit

Bricking a shot and losing the finals has no value
But that's what Kerr chose.
