The whole Bird got all of the attention just because he was white exposed the blacks who were saying it at the time and they were all over the place.

Bird and Magic had basically the same career and got basically the same attention during their career. Yet we still heard Bird gets all of the attention because he is white..

Bird is also Mr. 3/5. They both have the same numbers of Finals MVP, and Lebron has 1 more regular season MVP than Bird. If Lebron wins another Finals MVP I put him over Bird. Lebron also has a better regular season, playoffs, and finals stats than Bird.

Larry Bird is a LOT better than Isaiah.

Larry might be overall the greatest basketball individual, better than Jordan - if you consider their careers after a player as well.

Larry was ROY, Allstar, MVP, FMVP, Coach of the Year, Executive of the Year.
Compared to Jordan one of the worst execs anyway not a regular guy.

In game 5 Bird had 36/12/9 and the famous steal/game winning assist. Game 6 Bird had 35/9 on 70% shooting. Game 7 he had 37/9/9 with I think 3 late assists to put the game away.

They were just hurt.

And if you listen to the whole clip Rodman says that Russell not Bird is the GOAT...and that Magic is better than Bird...he later(like...10 seconds later) said that Magic, Jordan, and Isiah are as good as Bird. Said Bird was a 10 far as basketball smarts but was slow and not the best defensive player.

So he was kinda all over the place. He was upset with the Bird is the GOAT talk and felt Russell deserved that spot but didnt get it from the media because Bird was white.

It does if nothing else show how many people believed Bird was the best ever at the time.

Isiah didn't tell no lie. If Bird was Black then Stern couldn't sell the white vs black storylines of both the 'Lakers vs the Celtics' and 'Bird vs Magic'. David Stern creating a race war across America is what saved the NBA.
