I'm quite positive if Kobe was allowed to focus merely on defense, he could do the same thing as Duncan.

BTW, Duncan is averaging 10 points this season and they're still title contenders. Very serious title contenders.

Tim Duncan is better because he brought a calming presence with great leadership to the organization. The Spurs didn't make Tim Duncan great, Tim Duncan made the Spurs great. He is the reason why they have been a great organization for almost 20 years.
