    Westbrook has double the points on better efficiency, more rebounds, more assists on better ast/to ratio, on another planet defensively...and the eye test confirms it completely and then some.

    They're 7th in the West, they have to decide between sitting him and possibly missing the playoffs.

    They are not guaranteed playoffs, they may miss it, 1 loss difference between them and 9th seed.

    Eh this is just like the 'OKC might miss the playoffs' scare to me. Some reasoning behind it but I don't think it's that serious. For them to miss the playoffs one of Phoenix or NO has to overtake them, I just don't see it. Spurs have gone 3-7 in their last 10, Phoenix is on a 5 game winning streak, and SA is still ahead. Spurs always turn it on later into the season, when they do they'll comfortably make the playoffs. They just won't get a top seed, which might hurt.
