    Wade

And it's not even close. Curry is still an average defender.

Peak for peak? It's not even debatable. Wade was GOAT level impact at his peak. He impacted the game in more ways. I understand Curry is entering his prime and if he elevates his game, this is a better topic but as it stands? Damm son. Disrespecting D-Wade.

Wade. He was hyped from pre-draft to today...Curry has only been a hot name the past few seasons.

It is possible Curry could end up better, but Wade clearly has a better peak and career.

Has Wade ever led his team to 65+ wins?

Did Wade ever command the amount of defensive attention that Curry received last year?

Curry is more dangerous on the offensive end, is one of the best off ball AND on ball players in the league, something Wade could never claim. The spacing he creates on the floor is something that very few nba players ever have been able to do.

Not saying that its Curry, but to act like it "isn't close" is crazy, The Warriors just had one of the GOAT seasons for a team and Curry was their undisputed best player/leader. You could argue that Shaq was still getting more attention from defenses than Wade was in 06. Curry makes his teammates better just by being on the floor due the attention he receives on the perimeter

Curry sets the record for 3pters made every year, is the GOAT at something & just led his team to a title with a rookie coach and one all star beside him. He's never had the luxury of playing with a Shaq, or a team with Lebron and Bosh.

Defensively Wade is better, but imo Curry seems to have more impact offensively, he can play in any system, he can excel off ball and on ball and is currently changing the way the game is played.

05, 06, healthy 07, 09, 10, and 11 Wade are all clearly better than any version of Curry

Curry by a mile. Wade plays in the East, that says it all.

Wade is literally better than Curry at every facet of the game by miles and miles

Don't mention shooting, it's a sub-category of scoring, in which Wade was better

I know OP is just trolling, so I won't get too worked up

Just to add some more perspective, Wade's CAREER averages over 12 seasons (24/6/5/2/1 on 49%) are comparable to Curry's MVP numbers, and Wade had a 7 year stretch averaging 27/7/5 with a 27 PER. He also made 3 all defense teams during that stretch including a 3rd place DPOY finish.

Curry is without question a great player, but he's not at Wade's level in terms of peak play and certainly nowhere near Wade in terms of career. Maybe he'll indeed pass Wade at some point, who knows, but it hasn't happened yet.
