He's super underrated, our best player in the pre-season so far by far.

One of my favorite players when he was on the Suns. He was one of the pieces that fitted very well playing along Dragic.
Great size for a 2 guard, is athletic and has a very good outside stroke. Can occasionally slide to the 3. Never backed down on his competitions. Vastly underrated player.
Only thing I disliked about him is that he can get really trigger happy during the course of the game. Some of the shots he takes will probably piss any fan off.

But as a deadly sixth man, he can be deadly

Nah. That injured prone team is going to live up to their billing and he will end up starting too many games.

He's going to be a great spark off the bench. Hopefully he can be our "microwave" guy. The Heat's bench was comically bad last season, and Green and a healthy McRoberts should be a major upgrade in that area.

Green has gotten himself a nice little comeback story.

Straight outta high school. Win the Dunk contest. Goes to the D-League. Out of the NBA family. Goes overseas, including China. Back to the DLeague. Finally got a second chance with the Nets.

That'd be absolutely great for him, at least at the moment he deserves it. He will be super important to the Heat this year, he along with Stoudemire, McBob, and Winslow are going to be huge off the bench

I see a 2013 JR Smith kind of year for him.

How much did Miami pay for him again?

I always forget this dude is missing a finger. He'd probably be an all-star if he had it.

He had some vicious dunks last night. If he had all his fingers/had better navigational efficiency or quickness he'd be so unstoppable. He already has a fairly decent shooting game. He'd drop 23 ppg so easily if he knew how to be agile/move around people ala Harden or Wade. That athleticism, strength and size are perfect for hoops.

At this point, I'm plugging him as the starting 3. You move Deng to the bench, and you're actually looking at some decent spacing.

Veteran minimum. Looking like the best value signing of the summer so far.

Miami are STACKED. No excuses for Wade.

He's definitely a good backup to Wade. Even if Wade has injury problems this year, they have Winslow or Green to start at the 2.

I would be really surprised if they don't make the playoffs again this year.

Definitely has a good skillset once he came back on his second go at the NBA. Seems like he's taking it way more seriously than he was on the Wolves/Celtics back in the 2000s.
