How much better is Rose than Wade?

LOL, that argument of yours is flawed.

Wade is not considered the best player in the league this season because he probably plays with the best player in the league (lol) in Lebron James. Therefor, sharing the spotlight more and lowering his opportunities for MVP recognition.

Rose is not better than him in my opinion. Rose had a better season because of the highlighted wins and because the Bulls ended up with the best record in the league, but that doesnt make him better. Right now it might look like that because the Bulls depend more on Rose than the Heat do on Wade.

Take the 08-09 season for example, arguably the best Wade`s season of his career, for me that alone is better than current Derrick Rose. He was putting up better scoring numbers on better efficiency, slightly less assists per game (he is a SG tho, remember that), but a lot of them for his position, 5 boards per game and playing much better defense than current Rose plays.

I have no problem saying Rose is the 10-11 season MVP, because he truly is. But he is not better than Dwayne Wade.

Wade can dominate games in a more efficient and all-around fashion, not only on offense, but on defense also (one of the best guard shot-blockers of all time).

Conclussion: this season Rose > this season Wade. But best Wade`s season (08-09) > current Rose`s season.

I will concede Rose is better if he leads the Bulls to the Finals this year, and has a better Finals than Wade did in 05-06.

No he's not just better. Wade is slightly better. If Rose can continue to improve on defense and improve his shot selection, then Rose is better.
