how much do lakers have left? can we get gasol or lance?
no. Basically at 54 million in salary with another 6 mil in salary. So, you have about 3 mil to spend before you hit the "cap"

How the **** do you get this? 23.5 for kobe, 3 mil for stretch nash, 8.5 mil for lin, 9 mil for hill, 1 mil each for sacre and marshall, and randle (3mil? I dont know the rate) which is 49 million. plus 6 cap holds at over a million (sorry, but they count) and you are at 55 million. so you have about 8 million to the cap. Pretty sure you cannot use the MLE if you started below the cap.....
ignore my prior post about 3 mil

I like it. We weren't signing anyone else anyway, and in a year that $9 million dollars will give us flexibility in case we're looking to make a trade.

Add the second year is a team option.. so basically it's a one year deal... see how he holds up and go from there

Important number here is the 2 years. Who cares if it's 9-12 million? Lakers ain't gonna get desperate and sign a piece of shit free agent like the Knicks did with Amare in 2010.
At least they didn't ChanningFrye themselves.

Oh if it's a team option I wouldn't be surprised if we flip him this year. The guy has value around the league.

Their minimum holds are only 500k. Randle already counts for 2.6. If Nash were stretched they would be around 54.5 committed. The holds are lower but you didn't add Nick Young.

Happy to have him back, but too much $$$....whyyyyyyyy is it a 2 year deal though? I'd rather it be 1yr/18m

with that MPC swing.
Re: Jordan Hill resigns with the Lakers on a two-year, $18M deal
Looks like we had to overpay for him to accept a short term contract with a team option. Not quite as bad as I thought, but I'm still not completely sold on the idea.
