Yeah, it is weird that they will re-play games if a player is accidentally attributed somebody else's foul and are fouled out that indirectly impacts the game, but won't re-play when a blatant mistake was made on a call that impacts the game directly.

It was a blatantly missed call...Now detractors will say its karma for all the free throws he gets. Me though, a horrible call is a horrible call and I was watching it. I wasn't sure in real time but on the replay, its super obvious and it cost them the game. Gasol still had to make the shot but still, the game may have just been overtime assuming Harden would have hit both his free throws.

That's what happens when you flop on every drive to the basket. Sometimes the refs aren't sure if you got fouled or not. It's called basketball karma.

Same thing happens come playoff time. The refs aren't going to give you the game at the FT line in the playoffs.

I never understand the point of them coming out after the fact and admitting they missed a call. There is nothing that can be done so what is the point?

Fair point, but Harden gets too much hate on this forum for anyone to acknowledge this.

No problem admitting the mistake but will they admit that they made a mistake on the other 5 flop calls Harden gets every game?

League doesn't Harden getting the MVP. So if not for the refs Houston is what, like 2 games behind Memphis?

This, the referees will admit that they incorrectly gave a rebound and assist to LeBron but won't admit Chandler flopped to get Cousins to foul out and have the Mavs win in overtime.

The guy has got so many calls for him that were not fouls it's about time one went against him tbh. Great game but.

    FTA

    Harden 9.5
    Westbrook 9.2

What about Russ? Does he get many not foul calls too?

Common knowledge that NBA refs swallow their whistles during the close out of games. This gets worse in the playoffs. What's wrong? Is it really too much to ask for Harden to win on a real shot rather than flailing around for BS free throws? Really....
