    LeBron had a lousy series.

Even so, games 2 (epic collapse by Miami) 4, and 5 were up for grabs going into the last minute or so. That's how close Miami was to winning even with Lebron averaging 9-10 points less (and was less efficient) than his usual average, including one of his worst games ever in game 4.

Lebron really screwed up in these finals.

Not only that, in those games you mentioned in the 4th quarters LeBron scored
    Game 2: 2 points
    Game 4: 0 points (took 1 shot)
Game 5: 2 points (on a conceded layup with the game out of reach)

To this day I don't understand what happened to him in that series

I never understood why lebron played so dam bad this series i mean I know some people choke and under perform but it was seriously bad. Even if the best player in the world dropped off it shouldnt have been this bad.

I even considered then idea of lebron throwing the games away. But it doesnt make financial sense. The chosen one was meant to dominate.

Because he had a shitty 2nd option that only averaged 17 ppg on 48%.

That's still a better 2nd option than Jordan had his entire 2nd three-peat, since Pippen averaged 17 ppg on 40.8% for the 1996-1998 playoffs - only Jordan could win multiple rings with such poor performance from his 2nd option.

    Pippen's performance included 15 ppg on 34% in 1996 Finals, the worst-ever performance for a 2nd option..
