Maybe it differs from different states, but I was under the impression that the divorcee is entitled to X% of the spouse's income in a certain year? Isn't that why so many NBA players with loads of children have massive child support debts, because they need to pay based on their NBA salary even though they aren't in the league anymore.

I haven't heard of too many divorce cases where the person who actually was the cheater initiates the divorce.

They will lose big in a divorce hearing.

My guess is they just got tired of each other or Timmy was boning some other piece of Texas kitty.
