if this were miami getting billups, this board would be jizzing itself. now all of a sudden, billups sucks. now, no way are clips contenders but it's hard to fault this signing at this price. if he's not productive or disruptive, it's not like you are tied to a huge contract. the disruption part is a concern but when push comes to shove, billups has always been a professional. he can help this team take the next step with his veteran leadership and more importantly, he can help with the pace in close games where the clips lost a lot late.

I can't count how many games we lost last year in the 4th because we failed to close out.
