Any hype about Draymond Green deserving the DPOY over Kawhi should now be dead

Most knowledgeable people knew that was a well worthy award. Green is so so overrated. He isn't even the best defensive player on his own team. There's someone who comes off the bench that is better than him.

Kawhi was 'holding' Lebron to 28 last year (much less, as a lot of those points came when the games were decided) meanwhile if Green was covering Lebron, he would be averaging 50. He is lucky Iggy is there to somewhat slow Lebron down. He is also getting manhandled by the guy he is covering as well, TT. Very overrated defender.

Bron took what, 16 shots a game vs the Spurs in the Finals last year? And like a third or half of those were in garbage time when Kawhi was getting his rest on the bench cause his job was done.

You look at LeBron vs the Warriors and it's open season, he can get whatever he wants, whenever.

For as hyped as the Warriors defense has been this year it seems like they really struggle with SF's cause Durant and LeBron always torch them

lol Durant certainly could average 50 PPG vs either of these Finals teams on the right volume because they'd have no one to even guard him.

Realistically he'd probably average something like 35 PPG on 60% while getting plenty of 4th quarter rest

Yes, right now, given how this series is playing out, I would say he would be GSW's best player. That's why there is always tremendous value in a great, two-way, wing player because they can play different styles. Both up tempo and the physical, half court. Leonard is strong enough to bang when he has too. He would help them tremendously on both ends.

Curry/Klay are too finesse and can't play physical. Same with Babosa and Livingston. Too much finesse, not enough physicality.

If Durant averaged 32 PPG on 64% TS vs Battier/Wade/LeBron defending him, imagine what he'd do to Cleveland if OKC stayed healthy and made the Finals....

LeBron couldn't even attempt to guard him, he needs all his energy for offense right now where he is carrying a larger load than ever. It'd be an easy sweep for OKC since Cleveland wouldn't be able to match his star production.

Bron's efficency isn't a problem cause the Warriors are just getting their shit pushed in but vs a team with stars who show up in the Finals Cleveland would be ****ed for their lack of top end talent right now
