Sorry, but Curry is more unguardable than MJ ever was.
Curry can finish in the paint and he can finish from 50 feet a way at an efficient rate. MJ just has no comparison.
MJ is the better two-way player but in terms of pure offense, Curry is a tier above him.
Curry can only get into the paint and finish at the rate he does in today's game - he wouldn't be able to 25-30 years ago.

rofl, Curry is a better finisher than MJ now? I've heard it all. My how we are prisoner's of the moment...The dude is pretty unguardable in TODAY'S league but he's not even a better finisher than D Wade, let alone MJ. Lets see Curry finish among 7 footers consistently like MJ did, then we can talk.

So Curry is catching the ball in the high post now and hitting fadeaways, pump fakes and spin moves like MJ and even Kobe did the triangle? Are dudes MJ haters, Curry lovers, or both?

Oh, but OP's initial post, that is absolutely amazing what Curry did/is doing. However, how does that make Curry a better finisher or potentially better in the triangle? Where's the facts? Where's even the rationale? Its just omg, player A is amazing right now, he's the goat, period. 3 months ago, people were still saying Lebron was better than Steph, lol..

20 years ago he would get blind sided by hard pics and slamed to the ground or close line we went to the hole!

Stfu, I hate u 90's over dramatic ******gers...No one can stop Curry but Curry...You see the shots he hits? Then u talk about close line, Jesus Christ, thats a foul, you then send a 90+% ft shooter to the line....Talkin bout 96` where Mitch Richmond could be a top 10 scorer...Good player but not even on Currys level.

Above is a list of all games with 51 points scored on less than 28 field goals.
As you can see (click on FTA to sort by that column), most of these games had players taking at least 10 free throws.
In no game here does anyone even take less than 30 true shots.
The closest, besides last night's 28, was also Stephen Curry, three weeks ago, with 29 true shots.
Last night, Curry only took 28 true shots (actually 27, because his 1 FT obviously musta been on an And-1 or a technical foul).
I'm sorry, but he's playing better than MJ ever did.
Tony Delk, 53pts on 27FGA...ZERO 3PT shots made
Dana Barros, 50pts on 26FGA....

If he played 20 years ago he'd be stabbed to death on court and he wouldn't even be alive to shoot the freethrows!

Yeah people talk about MJ like he was a God lol. He didn't have Kobe's range. He never even got 70 in a single game ever because he wasn't capable of it nevermind 80 points like Kobe.
Curry has his 3 point shooting
Kobe has his super all around offensive prowess
Wilt and Shaq had the inside.
While MJ was great overall, I never felt that he was the absolute best in any specific area.

not sure if that even matters. nobody has ever had to stop 25+ footers like this guy makes just routinely. he destroys defenses by forcing them out way further than has ever been seen in history.
getting to the rim has always been the whole point of it... but with curry i dunno man. we have literally never seen this before. all that stuff we been watching for 50 years is flat obsolete with this guy.
for a fact.
