Above is a list of all games with 51 points scored on less than 28 field goals.
As you can see (click on FTA to sort by that column), most of these games had players taking at least 10 free throws.
In no game here does anyone even take less than 30 true shots.
The closest, besides last night's 28, was also Stephen Curry, three weeks ago, with 29 true shots.
Last night, Curry only took 28 true shots (actually 27, because his 1 FT obviously musta been on an And-1 or a technical foul).
I'm sorry, but he's playing better than MJ ever did.

You can also click AST (assist) at the top to sort by assists, and see that in most of these games these dudes were getting 2 or 3 assists. Curry had 8 assists last night.
His passing and vision is very good. Not elite, but very good.

Jordan averaged 33.4 in 179 playoff games with 6.4 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 2.1 steals and 0.9 blocks.
Not sure how Curry is doing better than that.

How many minutes per game was MJ playing, breh?
Sorry, but Curry is more unguardable than MJ ever was.
Curry can finish in the paint and he can finish from 50 feet a way at an efficient rate. MJ just has no comparison.
MJ is the better two-way player but in terms of pure offense, Curry is a tier above him.

Also offense is filtered through Jordan. He gets the initial touch in the triangle which doesn't require a play maker. He gets most of those stats purely by dominating the ball. If Curry had the minutes and played in a system like Larry Brown had in Philly then Curry's stats woild definitely inflate as well.

Don't forget the elite defense. A two way player with similar stats will always >

I see Chris Jackson also on the list. He was Steph before Steph, but playing in the wrong era.
