Just taking some of the things people have posted here several times and used them as an argument. Still, Brand's defense is much much better than Boozer/Amare's, and he's not far behind them on offense. (btw not trying to take over the topic, just throwing it out there because I think it can be said with the arguments used here, plus it's interesting to see where people rank a player who is basically almost as good as the two players compared but miles ahead on defense).

This one is tough. Amare has more talent but Boozer is a lot smarter and more mature. Boozer is also better on defense, Amare is more of an offensive threat though, and more versatile at that. Close call.

I'd say Boozer for the half-court game and Amare for the up-tempo style. So I wouldn't trade one player for the other if I were Utah or Phoenix.

In two years' time Amare should be the better player though. More talent and more athletic ability.
