i agree. if lebron isn't allowed to give a speech after what he has done for cleveland and with big z. the franchise is terrible and this whole ceremony will be a waste.

What better time than a retirement ceremony for an ex-teammate of LeBron. It's time for Cleveland and its fans to admit the wrongs they've committed. Admit that they wronged LeBron. This is the perfect time for that to happen. It is also a great opportunity for them to humble themselves and show appreciation for the great things LeBron did for Cleveland and the Cavaliers.

Thank god the franchise made the right decision to not do everything you're whining about. James chose to go out the way he did. F#ck him. This is about Z. Not everything has to revolve around LeBron James.

huh? let's not act like big z didn't go with lebron to miami, if lebron gets undeserving hate, then so should big z.

It's partly about Z, yes. But it is also a great opportunity, that may not be there in the future, to make amends and show appreciation. That is a very reasonable expectation.

Z was out of his prime and wanted to go to a title contender. He did so, which I had absolutely no problem with. James' destroyed his own reputation by holding a nationally televised press conference to announce his "decision." That's why a lot of people still dislike him here.

Z has nothing to do with any of that.

There's nothing to "make amends" for. He chose to go out of his way to kick the city and franchise in the nuts with "The Decision." Neither the fans, nor the franchise have any reason to extend an olive branch. Enough talk about James. This has nothing to do with him. Zero.
