A old and fat Curry will be even more useless than an old and fat Shaq
Old and fat Shaq was still useful actually.

Everybody had great moves, cept Q, and could create their own shot... We were one cohesive player away from making noise.

I was going to say the shoot around. The big man has moves, which is rare for a center these days.

Very good NBA starter
Re: Eddy Curry ready for his Miami Heat debut
He's still fat. How can you be an NBA player and be that fat? I mean Shaq's big but he worked out. Eddy Curry looks like he hasn't seen a gym.

Source.
Seems he has the "have to prove people wrong" mentality so either he will, or he'll fail.
He's lost 100 pounds? Yeah right... maybe 30 pounds. There's no way between those two pictures that's a 100 pound difference. Hasn't he ever been to a gym? He could probably be a beast if he lifted weights and got into real shape.

He looks much better. Look at this video:

It s funny how people keep saying he will be a bum and everything without even seeing him play. They can as if they saw his workouts and practices with Heat. I m not saying, he will come out and make big things happen, but stop making these useless statements.

I don't understand how a professional athlete, who has all the money he needs to eat healthy and it still be great food, has all the personal trainers and coaches he could need, and is being paid millions to just get in shape and play a sport, can still be so fat. In those pictures it looks like he just went on a diet and lost like 20 pounds, it doesn't look like he's really been working out or doing conditioning or changing his muscle definition or anything.

Based on reports and recent photos/videos he seems to be in shape. Hopefully he can play without hurting himself.

I'm not a Bulls fan, but I had high hopes for them as well. I mean, the potential on that team was staggering. It's crazy how a few short years later the team reached the elite status I thought they would, only with a completely different roster
Anyway, the redemption/return to glory story is always nice, so i'm pulling for Curry, but i'm not holding my breath.
