Demarre Carroll or Chandler Parsons?

Didn't know Demarre was from Birmingham.

During the offseasons a lot of Hawks fans wanted us to pay up and pick up Parsons to "upgrade" at SF. However you can argue Demarre Carroll is better than Parsons and a far better contract. Who would ISH take between Carroll and Parsons?

Defense - Carroll. No question. He is criminally underrated as a defender.
Offense - Chandler. No question.

Not really to be honest. The only thing statistically Parsons does better than Carroll is score more ppg (3) but on worse efficiency. He's also a far worse defender than Carroll

Passing - Carroll.
Rebounding - Carroll.

If we're taking contracts into account, give me Demarre any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Their numbers are actually pretty similar, and if you factor in the fact that Demarre plays much better defense, it's a lot closer than you might think.
