he topped 27ppg once last year. thats impressive. but his teammates were force feeding him the ball to get finals mvp... kobe and kyrie weren't that lucky
gotta give curry an asterisk for that one
curry was basically the #1 option but just couldn't make enough shots

difference is that Kobe did it in the toughest defensive era, where teams played at the slowest pace.

2001 Kobe vs 2013 Lebron
Kobe: 29/7/6
Lebron: 26/8/7
Peak Lebron vs 22 y.o Kobe. Kobe played in the toughest defensive era & wasn't in his prime yet.
Crazy because I watched ALL of these playoff series back then and NEVER recall Kobe hogging the ball either. Most of those points came within the flow of the TRIANGLE...which speaks for itself. His assists came naturally and wasn't all about whipping perimeter passes to GOAT shooters like Ray Allen or Kyle Korver.
Got his assists out the mud, to be honest.

Re: Kobe's 3-peat stats in perspective
I see only a few people bring up Kobe's 2000 finals numbers ever since I started to expose what really happened. When someone brings up that series against Indiana and his numbers, it should be OBVIOUS that they didn't watch basketball back then.

IMAGINE JUST PASSING THE BALL TO PRIME SHAQ and him dunking it over everyone.. And then being credited with an assist.. SO HARD.. I THINK NOT..

He's shown throughout his time here that he actually watches basketball.
Can't say the same about your ilk

Re: Kobe's 3-peat stats in perspective
PER 100 possessions is a better stat. Let's compare those years listed by OP.
Kobe is 30.9/7.6/6.5, 52.7 TS%...109 offensive rating, 104 defensive rating - 21.3 PER and 4.5 BPM
Lebron is 35.5/11.2/7.6, 59.5 TS%...117 offensive rating, 102 defensive rating - 28.2 PER and 9.8 BPM
Lebron was on a higher tier.
