    Default Heat reach finals!

The Heat have reached the finals. Discuss Game 6 between Miami and Detroit, and what went wrong for the pistons

The Pistons just didn't have the intensity on either end of the floor that they had during the regular season

The healthy duo of Shaq and D-Wade happened.

heat played smart ball, shaq got many touches, and jwill played outta his mind. when the heat role players play well along with either wade/shaq, they are very hard to beat

pistons had their opportunities, but ive never seen players choke so hard. when heat were playing a 2-3 zone.. the pistons moved the ball well, but they missed almost every open shot. even though pistons got to the ecf... their run to me was QUITE unimpressive

Pretty much sums it up. Pistons just got beat by a better team this year, plain and simple. Heat's players all stepped up and simply overwhelmed them. They knew it too; they blew so many shots and even layups tonight, they just looked demoralized. When a team like the Pistons, who in the past three seasons have been running with swagger and a track record to back it up, looks like that on the floor it's over. Can't take anything away from the Pistons though, they've been one of the top teams in the league for the past three years and went out with class tonight.

Yes the heat were the better team and the pistons just didnt look as good as last year! (could be because of flip , age or loss of hunger)
there defence just wasnt there and against Wade and Shaq theres no point turning up if your not going to defend!

I want to see how Shaq would do VS the Suns in a 7 game series.

And Raja VS DWade would be a great match up

The Heat have been slowly but surely getting better each and every month since the AS break. You could say that Pistons played their worst stretch of basketball once the playoffs hit. Come to think about it you could say that the Pistons peaked too early in the season. The Heat were just a better team then the Pistons.
