Didn't Bron beat the Thunder who were more talented? Same with the Spurs in 2013. I'm pretty sure he beat the Pistons in 07 to get to the finals too. He seems to do okay.

No team in the last 20 yrs has won the finals against a clearly more talented team other than 2004 pistons and 2011 mavs and that was mostly because of shaq-kobe feud and lebron choking.
Heat weren't the favorites in 2006 IIRC. Can't remember who was in 2008. That was pretty even.

Thunder might have been favored after back-door sweeping the Spurs, who hadnt lost a game yet. After a couple games it was clear that they weren't ready yet though.

Jordan team were so stacked they won 55 games without him in the 1994 NBA Season.

I am using the examples where the other team clearly had better players. 2006 finals don't fall into that category.

Lebron is 0-4 in Finals without Wade.. 2-8 in the Finals without Shane Battier.

Btw, I'm never wrong on playoff predictions

LeBron's resume is already top-10 all-time caliber. What happens in this year's second round doesn't affect it.

I think Cleveland will win but I don't really give a shit, all I care about is keeping my bracket clean.

Why limit it to the finals? This is the second round of the playoffs.

By the way, the 1998 Jazz from top to bottom had more depth than the Bulls.

Most of them don't believe what they write.
They are in here to play the stan wars, a game for insecure people to feel better about themselves.

The fact is that lebron has only lost 1 playoff series again a worse team and that was 2011 finals. Kuniva will have you believe that this is a trend.

Can you tell me about that Pistons team?

    Best ever?

Or did they play Chris Webber?

Thunder were young and inexperienced, and I don't think the Spurs were any more talented than Miami that year, tbh.

I'll give you the '07 Pistons, but one series out of a couple dozen doesn't really say anything.

At least he led his team in the NBA Finals while MJ's team got their @$$ kicked in the preliminary round of the playoffs.

Without Pippen and Phil. Jordan would be a bald headed Dominique Wilkins.
