Ross is certainly way more exciting to watch.

Ross is mostly defense and three point shooting at this point. He needs to work on using the dribble to get free. His teardrop shot has potential to be a dangerous weapon.

I'd take Ross right now because he has a better attitude and is playing a great defense.

Waiters has a much better shot at being a star if he can ever pull it together.

Ross is going to be a career role player, but he has the chance to be a very solid one.

This, imo he's not in a position to maximise his talents in Cleveland atm, he's far more talented than Ross that's not even a question imo.

It happens all the time on this forum, the main reason some players get hated is because one person makes a thread vastly over rating them and suddenly everyone is against that player forever and brings up threads any time they struggle.

Waiters isn't going to be the best in the league but he's a very solid player already and he will only improve as he grows older and matures. If Waiters were on the lakers/heat he'd be getting a lot more respect right now.

Yeah skill wise and Waiters is a above average athlete himself, plus Waiters got better natural instincts for the game as well. His ability to get into the lane you simply can't teach.

Waiters playing in a system that doesn't fit him well, he nneds the ball in his hand, so basically he's not improving.

Waiters got more potential, But right now i would take Ross. Ross is more like Norris cole type, he's gonna give you good minutes but you can't count on him when the game is close.

Neither is a good player. Waiters has more talent but Ross plays more within his game and seems to know how limited he is. Waiters is definitely the better long term prospect though. I'm not sure if there was a guy with a lower ceiling than Ross picked in the top 10 of that draft.
