I don't understand why some people think that not shaking hands makes you a better NBA player... Grow up and be professional and keep you emotions in check instead of acting like a sore loser.

Not shaking hands doesn't mean you take the game more seriously, if you are serious about getting better you would accept the loss and train harder and try to be better for the next game.

this is spot on. You don't have to be friends with the players on the team you're trying to be win against but you can respect others who play the same sport as you.
Before that photo Boogie & Redick went up in the air for a rebound, Boogie pushed Redick down to the ground and Redick went down hard and got injured, he had to go off and didn't return in the game. Redick got up and went over for a handshake or some shit to say it's all cool and Boogie just walked off.

That's not being edgy, or bringing back the old days of tough basketball and not being buddy buddy with everyone. That's called being a bad sport .
