Wolves weren't going nowhere. Whether on paper or not, there was more than 8 teams better than them in the West only. Kevin Love was injured last season and then comes back and gives you guys 26 12 4 top 3 PER and Stat Line this year. Somehow he is not top 5 lol. He does not play defense but Harden, Melo, and even Durant are considered top 5 players in this league. (Which is bullshit, except Durant) He now plays alongside a winner, he will finally reach the playoffs and showcase his talent to the world. Anybody who takes anybody but Love as the best PF in the game is clueless.

This. D12 gets no Love. But today, AD >>> Dwight matchups or nah!

Love gets lots of hate tho.

So Blake, Paul, Westbrook who all at made it to the 2nd round and CF are not top 5 because they never "met expectations" yet Curry whose team lost in the 1st round (to Blake & Paul's team) and Love (who didn't make the playoffs at all) are?

    dat logic

In all honesty Griffin met and exceeded expectations. He carried the team when CP3 was out.

Paul and Westbrook were Top 3 in PER in the PLAYOFFS but they aren't Top 5 because Love's regular season Top 3 PER and missing the playoffs is much more important.

Okay kids! 3 teams: Clippers, Warriors, Wolves (same conference)
Back in october of last year, lots of people were talking about a possible Miami vs Clippers in the finals and possibly having the Clippers winning the trophy at the end of the season.

In the playoffs, the Warriors were the underdogs vs clippers and Steph won his 1v1 matchup vs Paul. Lemme add that Curry had the inferior supporting cast, compared to Paul's. Curry gives you 24/8/4 as a pg. That's iversonesque " I might get some heat for that."

Kevin Love won his regular season 1v1 matchup against Griffin. We talking about expectations here. No one, with actual basketball knowledge, would've given the Wolves a single chance to reach the playoffs. They came close due majorly to Love's amazing statistical season (26/12/4) that only KD LeBron were able to top.

It's not fair but to every rules there is an exception. The man simply couldn't do much more than what he did with the supporting cast they gave him. He played with arguably the worst starting pg in the league in Rubio for God sake. Wolves were never a playoff team. Just like Blake has another superstar next to him in Paul, Love could've used one. Just sayin'

Love took two seasons to accumilate 32 wins.

I don't think Blake, Paul nor Melo won less then 60 over a 2 year span.

My top 5 goes like this:
    1. Lebron
    2. Westbrook
    3. Griffin
    4. Davis
    5. Durant/ibaka/cp3

In my list, i take note of the overalls of every player including: leadership, talent, playoff production, and in davis' case tremendous upside. My list is foolproof and i truly believe this is how todays nba is evaluated.
    Davis and Ibaka?

OP is legit retarded, using Griffin's rookie year against him because he couldn't make the playoffs, when he won almost double the games Love won in his first year as a starter

Neither were the Phoenix Suns when most people had them pegged bottom 5 (or even perhaps the worst record) in the league last year, yet ended up with a better record than the Wolves.

The rest of your post doesn't deserve an honest response. I suggest for you to commit seppuku until you learn how to evaluate talent.

How did Carmelo "not meet expectations" last year? His team was awful, but Carmelo was absolutely outstanding individually. The Knicks were terrible last year, but that certainly wasn't Melo's fault.

    LeBron
    Durant
    CP3
    Melo

I think #5 is highly debatable between like 7 different players lol

Griffin > Love. And as Love takes a backseat to Bran and Kyrie, that gap will widen even further.
