Default Where would the 2004 Pistons rank in this league?

Would they make it to the ECF?

There's no team in this league that stick outs for their defense.

They would be one of the best teams, maybe the best. There's no big difference in the overall quality of the league, centers are down but PG play is as good as it's ever been. If Sheed played like a major post-up guy they'd be hell but he never did that so who cares. Young Prince may defend Durant better than anyone in the game today.

They could make it to the Finals. Would be a tough series with the Heat. 7 games. This is the team that took down Shaq and Kobe in their primes.

Do you think that they were better defensively than the 07-08 Celtics? They have a chance to win it all imo.

Most likely the best team in the NBA and it wouldn't be close. They would be the clear cut favorites considering that they are one of the greatest teams ever with that sick defense.

Remember the all star game when all 4 of them were inserted in the lineup? It was basically the Pistons vs All Stars.

Yes, although that Celtics team is also an all time great defense. I think they beat Miami in 6 or 7 in the ECF. Likely win the title. That was such a complete team.

Opponents averaged 84.3 points per game against the Pistons in 04. Chicago defense allows the least points this year with 90.9 points per game.
